Our Founder and CEO, Yahya Rahman started the Changing Lives Center in March of 2007. He started the organization in memory of a family member that had disabilities and needed support services. His professional accomplishments are numerous and monumental. He has over 28+ years of executive planning and development of new programs, creating budgets, and administration in the human services sector, of which he has overseen Residential Programs to included 80 Community Group Homes, 2 Day Programs, Supported Employment, and Community Participation Supports for several multi-million dollar non-profit
agencies in the state of Pennsylvania & New Jersey, all while directly supervising a core team that included several Associate Executive Directors, Community Directors, Nurses, BCBA’s and other key administration staff. His background also includes oversight of shelters, transitional, supported, and family living programs working with both homeless youth, autistic youth and adults with behavioural health and intellectual disabilities. 
Yahya is inspired by his commitment to positive approaches and brings his skills as a visionary in the human services sector to the Changing Lives Center. He has already put the Changing Lives Center in a position to service new individuals in 2 other states and has tripled our staffing.
 
Yahya holds an M.A. degree in History, a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy and holds several national professional certifications in behavioural health and I/DD services and is a Certified Medication Administration Trainer, an Outcomes Trainer, and a Certified Investigator.
